Will you guys ever imagine you will dance Bharatanatyam and become a successful in the international level even after losing your leg in massive accident at the age of 16.

So, now I'm gonna introduce you a woman who is a International level Bharathnatyam dancer and a well known leading actress in Film Industry. She is non-other than Miss SUDHA CHANDRAN




     She was born on  September 27 in the year of 1965. Her parents were KD Chandran and Thangam. At the age of 16 in the year 1981 she met with a massive accident and badly injured. In the hospital during the surjery doctors forgot to remove some infected particles and later she got infected by that. And leads to remove her leg. Even though she lost her leg but she didn't lost confidence in her and she practiced Bharathanatyam. 






After the removal of her leg she fixed a artificial jaipur leg and she started practicing Bharathanatyam and became a World Class Traditional Dancer. She proved that nothing can stop you when you dedicated and determined at your work. She made lot's of live performs and impressed so many people with her talent and hardwork.

Later she moved the Film Industry and became Actress and acted more than 50+ movies in more than 6 languages. After she moved to the Television and  acted more than 50+ serials in more than 10 languages in different channels.



 And also she Judged so many live performs in different channels.

  • 2004: Star Parivaar Awards Star Parivaar award for Best Mother in Law for "Kaahin Kissii Roz"
  • 2005: Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress in a negative role for Tumhari Disha
  • 2013: Asianet Television awards 2013 Best Character actress for Aardram
  • 2014: Vijay Television Award for Best Supporting Actress for Deivam Thandha Veedu
  • 2015: Vijay Television Award for Best Mother in Law for Deivam Thandha Veedu
  • 2016: Colors Golden Petal Award for Power Packed Performance for Naagin
  • 2017: Colors Golden Petal Award for Best Actor in a Comic Role for Naagin 2.
